Canada Day Celebrations (2026)


Russell Canada Day celebrations are organized by the Russell Lions Club and the Russell Agricultural Society every year. A fun day for the whole family with great entertainment, kids games, fireworks, and more!

This year we celebrate the
159th Anniversary of Canada’s Confederation and also marks the 37th year the Russell Lions Club and the Russell Agricultural Society team up to bring you this incredible day of festivities.

June 30 Bash
Admission: $15:00 per person Age of Majority
At the Pavilion (Russell Fair Grounds)

6:30 PM - Midnight   Beer Garden
Food Concession by Mom's Kitchen
Musical Entertainment: 2Js Music Machine and Second Avenue (Luke James, Bryan Mandeville, Liam Tuck, Eamon Colvin & Sam Van Dusen)
 

July 1st Canada Day Schedule

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  Annual Community Canada Day Breakfast (hosted by the Russell Legion (on the Ice Slab at the Russell Arena). Donations graciously accepted onsite.
Entertainment: Dr. Kaboom (baloon twisting) and music by Marty McIntyre.
12:00 PM - 4:30 PM   Variety of Kids Games, Corn Box, Bouncy Castle, etc.
12:00 PM - 10:00 PM   Entertainment and Refreshments
Food Truck by Mom's Kitchen
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM   Entertainment: The Front End (music)
1:00 PM   Oh Canada
