Canada Day Celebrations (2023)

Russell Canada Day celebrations are organized by the Russell Lions Club and the Russell Agricultural Society every year. A fun day for the whole family with great entertainment, kids games, fireworks, and more!

This year we celebrate the 156th Anniversary of Canada’s Confederation and also marks the 37th year the Russell Lions Club and the Russell Agricultural Society team up to bring you this incredible day of festivities.

June 30 Bash
Admission: $10:00 per person Age of Majority
At the Pavilion (Russell Fair Grounds)

7:00 PM - Midnight   Beer Garden
Food Concession by Junior and the Kid
Musical Entertainment: Thompson Live

July 1st Canada Day Schedule

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  Free Community Canada Day Breakfast (hosted by the Russell Legion (on the Ice Slab at the Russell Arena). Donations graciously accepted onsite.
11:30 AM   Kids Bicycle Ride Parade from St Thomas Aquinas High School to Fair Grounds
12:00 PM   Volleyball Registration (onsite)
12:00 PM   Variety of Kids Games
