2023 Russell Lions Club "Drive In" Food Drive

For decades, the Russell Lions Club has walked door to door to pick-up non perishable food items and donations for our local “Good Neighbour’s Food Bank”. Because the village of Russell is booming so we've decided to change this event up! This year we will be parked at the Russell Foodland in a one-stop drop off location. But that’s not all!

We recognize that many members of our community may have mobility issues or are incapable of driving to see us at the Russell Foodland. For that reason, we are offering in-person pickup at your residence for people who fall under these categories. If you'd like to have a Lion come to your home to pick up your donation, please send us an e-mail at FoodDrive@LionsRussell.com before the 17th with your name, phone number and, most importantly, your address. If you don't want us knocking of ringing your doorbell, simply put the items in a bag or box at your front entrance (with some indication on it that it is for the Lions Club) and we will just pick it up without disturbing you.

Make a donation three different ways.

1. Drop your donation with us at the Russell Foodland on June 17th.
    
2. Purchase a “Grab Bag” at Russell Foodland and have it taken to the drop off area.
    
3. In-Person pick up at your residence: Send us an e-mail at FoodDrive@LionsRussell.com (before June 17th) with your name, phone number and address and we will come by your place between 10 and noon and gladly pick up your donation!
   
   For the purposes of efficiency and reduced fuel consumption, we will not be making any stops received on the Food Drive day itself. Stops will be compiled between now and the day before the Food Drive.

The families who will benefit from your donation will be very grateful for your kindness and generosity.
